What is a drysuit?
A drysuit is different to a wetsuit, as it is aimed for those who will be in water or the sea when the temperature of the water is lower than if you were to wear a wetsuit. This is because the drysuit is aimed in essence, to keep you dry, and the layer of air in your drysuit is used for insulation. Whereas a wetsuit allows a small amount of water to enter and warm up therefore keeping you warmer that way, but they are used in warmer temperature waters.
What accessories are there for a drysuit?
When you’re in colder temperatures, you can wear certain items under or with your drysuit, to essentially work as another thermal underlayer to keep you warm for the chilly days when you’re at sea. Items such as an underfleece can be worn under your drysuit and will allow you to stay warmer for longer when air temperatures would normally cause you discomfort.
